Our Beginnings
Kittle's Home (Before Kittle’s Flooring) was founded by Dan Kittle in 1994. Dan, who had worked in the carpeting business, recognized a market segment that had been overlooked—hardwood flooring. With the experience and connections he gained in the industry, he was able to open his own store in Dania Beach, FL.
After nine years of successful operations, he relocated the business to Cooper City to offer his customers better, more convenient service. Initially, Dan focused on a conservative range of products, all centered around hardwood floors. He also offered services such as wood refinishing and maintenance. Over the years, the product selection expanded to include carpet, laminate, and other highly-requested flooring options. Homeowners were thrilled with Dan's work, and they trusted his crew.
Many locals turned to Kittle's for their flooring needs, and the company’s trucks became a familiar sight in the Broward communities.
The Rebranding
From Flooring Experts to Full-Service Remodelers In 2015, Kittle’s Flooring entered a new era under the ownership of the Tardugno family. To better serve the South Florida community, we rebranded as Kittle’s Home, officially transitioning into a licensed General Contractor.
With time and the expertise gained over the years, we have evolved far beyond our flooring roots. Today, we offer an extensive selection of high-end construction materials and premium finishes. From custom kitchen cabinetry and elegant countertops to luxury bathroom vanities and more, we provide everything needed for a sophisticated renovation.
